On October 10, Adelphi Associate Professor Matt Curinga, Ed.D., was awarded a proclamation for his involvement in making the STEAM Lab at PS 9 in Brooklyn come to life.
Principal D’Avilar, special guests and PS 9 students and teachers celebrated the opening of the school’s very first STEAM Lab. With funding support from the office of Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, the STEAM Lab will allow students to expand their Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math learning.
Dr. Curringa is a parent of one of the school’s students.
