The recent Adelphi Votes initiative to assist the Adelphi community in voter registration and absentee ballot applications was hugely successful.

The recent Adelphi Votes initiative this past Monday and Tuesday to assist the Adelphi community in voter registration / absentee ballot applications was hugely successful.  Voter registrations for NYS were completed by 114 applicants, plus 45 absentee ballot applications also submitted.  Voters from various states, ranging from residents of nearby New Jersey and Connecticut, to the midwest states of Wisconsin and Illinois, and coast to coast with a California native.

Adelphi Votes would like to thank all those who participated, especially Political Science students Olivia Digiulio, Joshua Littman and Pietro Pisciotta, who were encouraged by Associate Professor Traci Levy to assist with this initiative.  A special thanks! to the representatives of the League of Women Voters who were on hand in the Swirbul Library lobby to assist with voting registration at that site.

NYS voter registration forms will be available in the PantherTaiinment Booth, UC Lobby, and all state registration forms plus absentee ballot information will be available in UC 108.  Contact Kathleen Watchorn, Coordinator of Special Programs and Projects, at voter@adelphi.edu for questions.
