Dr. Victor Labruna and Dr. Mandy Habib, Paul Moravec
Adelphi University co-directors of the Institute for Adolescent Trauma Treatment & Training, Dr. Victor Labruna and Dr. Mandy Habib were quoted in the New York Post on dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. Also mentioned were the outreach events that Adelphi hosted last year for children affected by Hurricane Sandy.
University Professor of Music, Paul Moravec, was mentioned in Newsday and News 12 Long Island on Wednesday, April 24, for a song he composed called “Change at Jamaica.” A Pulitzer Prize Winner, Moravec wrote the song for eight different Nassau high schools. The Long Island Rail Road will be showing a video of the piece on the big TV Monitor in the ticket area at Penn Station for several days.
