Four Alumni Join the Board of Trustees

The Adelphi Board of Trustees has elected four new members. Paul Akian, B.A. ’64, is the CEO of Western Filter, Western FluiDyne, Integra Technologies, which designs and manufactures hydraulic filtration systems for commercial and defense aerospace applications. Lois Phifer Betts, B.A. ’62, is a retired New York City teacher and a member of Adelphi’s Performing Arts Advisory Board. Also elected to the board are two recent alumni. Chantal Hamlin, B.A. ’07, J.D., is an attorney at Brooklyn Jubilee, and Adaeze Udoji, B.A. ’08, J.D., is an investigator with New Jersey Office of Attorney General.
