“Faithful” called a must-read for fall 2017.

Faithful Book CoverFaithful, the forthcoming novel by acclaimed author Alice Hoffman ’73 is due out in November. Already, Newsday has listed as a one of the 12 best books to read this fall.

In it, Hoffman, a Long Island native, tells the story of Shelby Richmond, a Long Island teenager who is in a car accident on Route 110 with her best friend, Helene Boyd. Helene is left in a coma, but Shelby survives and must try to make something of her life while struggling with guilt.

Hoffman will be at Book Revue in Huntington, New York, on November 30, and at the Madison Theater at Molloy College on December 7.
