On Monday, December 2, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., Andrew Solomon—who won the National Book Award for his book, The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression—will discuss his critically acclaimed new book, Far From the Tree: Parents, Children & the Search for Identity. Far From the Tree examines the means by which families accommodate children with physical, mental and social disabilities and how these unusual situations can be invested with love.
