Kick-Off to Adelphi University Performing Arts Center Season.

Adelphi University’s Performing Arts Center (AUPAC) is pleased to announce that Disco Inferno: a ’70s Celebration will kick-off the ninth season of performances on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., and everyone will dance the night away. The show celebrates the era with acclaimed hits such as “Turn the Beat Around,” “Celebrate, Good Times,” and “Last Dance.” This non-stop dance party will continue after the show as we open “Club AUPAC” in the Olmsted Theatre for a night of drinks and dancing featuring Long Island favorite, DJ Karin Ward, spinning even more disco hits. This performance is part of the Poole Family Broadway Series which is generously sponsored by Mary Jane and Thomas Poole.

Under the musical direction of Scott Coulter, Adelphi will welcome a talented cast of nearly 20 of Broadway’s finest singers and musicians including Kelli Rabke (Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), Lucia Spina (Kinky Boots), Erin Quill (Avenue Q), Susan Agin (executive and artistic director of the Queensborough Performing Arts Center), and many more.
