June 5, 2020 - Adelphi IT has learned from a trusted source that the Chronicle of Higher Education was the victim of a data breach, leading to the public disclosure of email addresses and passwords.

Dear Adelphi Community,

Adelphi IT has learned from a trusted source that the Chronicle of Higher Education was the victim of a data breach, leading to the public disclosure of email addresses and passwords. Your account was among the affected ones. At your earliest convenience, please log in to the Adelphi password management tool and reset your password. If you use the same password for other web sites as well, we strongly recommend changing them there also.

We will proceed by resetting the passwords of all affected accounts who have not recently changed their passwords on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.

The Adelphi Password Reset tool can be located by visiting eCampus and selecting Reset Password in the upper right hand side of the page when you are logged into eCampus or by selecting I need help accessing my account on the login page.

The Office of the California Attorney General has made additional information about the breach available.
