In celebration of our Adelphi spirit, you are invited to join the entire campus community (faculty, staff and students) in showing our Panther Pride when we wear it on Wednesdays!
On each Wednesday, sport your brown and gold or Adelphi apparel as a celebration of our community.
Don’t have too much brown or gold in your wardrobe or don’t have an Adelphi tie or shirt? No worries, you can take advantage of the special offers in the bookstore and free promotions at the launch event for #AUWearItWednesdays on Wednesday, September 16.
Planned activities include:
- Wear It Wednesday theme t-shirt giveaways
- Bookstore tent with raffle prizes
- Photo booth and the panther available for individual/group photos
- Appearance by our Adelphi cheerleaders
- DJ
- Contests
- Free ice cream and churros and special AU spirit treats.
We would also like to thank the Adelphi University Bookstore for supporting this initiative.
- New employees will receive a 25% discount coupon to be used for AU apparel.
- For current employees, if you shop in the bookstore on a Wednesday wearing brown and gold or AU apparel you will receive an extra 5% off (total 15%) your spirit purchases that day.
- The bookstore will also offer a special sale for everyone this week.
