Adelphi Inducts its Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2013

Adelphi athletics inducted its newest Hall of Fame class on April 18, 2013, welcoming six new members. Chris Bernard ’99 (men’s basketball), Eugene DuChateau (men’s soccer), Diana Lopez ’07 (women’s lacrosse/soccer), Lauren Lopez ’07 (women’s lacrosse/soccer), Charlie O’Donnell ’79 (men’s soccer) and Lisa Tunstall ’76 (women’s basketball) were each honored and gave an acceptance speech. The 1975–1976 cross country/track and field team was recognized as the Panther Legendary Team, and additional awards were presented to Wendy Hilliard, the founder of the Wendy Hilliard Foundation and a USA Gymnastics Hall of Famer, and Brian Rothschild, assistant dean of the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.
