A new Adelphi report exposes the extent of hunger and food insecurity in the region.

To commemorate World Health Day, the findings of a comprehensive study were revealed at the Truth and the Facts: Food Inequality on Long Island forum on April 9. Speakers included Adelphi University Director of Community Research Sarah Eichberg and American Jewish World Service Vice President for Strategic Learning Jacqueline Hart. The report was the region’s first comprehensive look at the daily experiences of living with food insecurity.

This piece is from the April 2013 issue of e-News from Adelphi University.
