Is the Learning Resource Program a Good Fit?

This program supports students who:

  • Have a diagnosed learning disability, such as dyslexia or an auditory processing disorder
  • Have been diagnosed with ADHD or benefit from executive functioning support
  • Previously received special education services or had an IEP or 504 plan in high school
  • Are seeking structured support to strengthen academic skills, manage the transition to college, and stay on track toward academic and professional goals

How to Apply to the Learning Resource Program

Students who wish to join the Learning Resource Program (LRP) must complete an application with Office of Admissions at Adelphi University.

Be sure to select “Learning Resource Program” under the “Signature Programs” section. This will indicate your interest in the program.

After you submit your Adelphi application, you’ll have the option to complete an interest form and share any documents (like IEPs or 504 plans) that might help the Learning Resource Program better support your success.

The Learning Resource Program is an opt-in program. That means once you’re accepted to Adelphi, you can choose to join by submitting the additional LRP deposit when you secure your spot at the University.

Next Steps

Once you join the Learning Resource Program, you will be invited for an intake meeting with a program representative.
