Every student has the potential to succeed.
A Learning Center tutor can help you understand your course material and will help you practice on problems similar to those in your assignments. The tutor will help you to learn how to complete your assignments on your own, thus providing you with a learning experience that will ensure your future success.
Our tutors are available in-person at the Garden City campus, in both the Nexus Building and Swirbul Library, and at the Manhattan Center. We encourage students from the Hudson Valley and Suffolk Centers to utilize our online services to access our tutors from anywhere.
Once registered on the Learning Center’s appointment system, you will be able to reserve an appointment with a peer tutor. Learning Center tutoring sessions are typically 30 or 60 minutes and are conducted either one-on-one or in small groups. Sessions are free for all Adelphi students and alumni.
