Regroup Mass Notification: Setup and Contact Verification Guide
Use this guide to set up your Regroup account and verify your contact information to ensure you receive Adelphi’s Emergency Mass Notifications.
Keeping your contact information accurate ensures you receive emergency and campus closure messages without delay.
The University Mass Notification System sends alerts during:
- Lockdowns or hostile intruder situations
- Weather-related closures
- Campus disruptions or emergencies
- Other critical university updates
Please note that although the system settings may include your email address, at this time the University is using text and voice messages to broadcast urgent messages.
How to Access Regroup
- Go to the Regroup Alert service after accessing eCampus.
- When redirected, select “Adelphi Login” to sign in using your eCampus credentials (SSO).
You will be taken to the Regroup Profile Dashboard, where you will complete setup and verify your information.
Managing Your Regroup Account
All active students and employees are auto-enrolled, but you should review and update your preferences to ensure alerts reach you reliably.
When accessing Regroup for the first time, you will see a brief setup flow. You do not need to enter any information on these screens.
- Go to the Regroup Alert service after accessing eCampus.
- Scroll to the bottom of each page and select “Continue”.
- On the final page, select “Finish Sign-Up”.
Skip all subscriptions/groups—your account is already added automatically.
Note: You will enter your actual contact information during your next login.
On future visits, you will go straight to your Contact Profile page. Use the following instructions to adjust your notification channels in Regroup:
- Go to the Regroup Alert service after accessing eCampus.
- In the top-right corner, select “Edit Profile”.
- Review and verify your contact details:
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
- Preferred notification methods (SMS/Text, call, email)
- Update or correct any missing or inaccurate information.
- When finished, scroll down and select “Save & Finish”.
You have the option to configure your messaging preferences to include a number of languages.
To have your messaging translated, follow these easy steps:
- Go to the Regroup Alert service after accessing eCampus.
- Go to “My Account” and select the “Edit” button on the top right
- Choose “Posts Preferred Language Alert Text/Email Language Preference” and select your preferred language
- Save your changes
Prevent Alerts from Being Sent to Spam
To avoid emergency calls being flagged as spam, save 516.234.5783 as “Adelphi Alert” in your phone.
Visitor Opt-in Messaging
Visitors can opt to Adelphi Alerts in for a fixed period of time (30 days) during their stay on campus by registering at this link. Construction crews, conference and seminar attendees, parents of children attending camps, can all benefit from this enhanced capability.
The Department of Public Safety and Transportation tests the University Mass Notification System at least once every calendar year, and such tests may be announced or unannounced. View the Emergency Notification Policy.
