In this workshop, we will explore how to integrate AI tools into assignments in ways that promote both student engagement and academic integrity.
Can teaching keep up with the Age of AI? During this workshop, we will discuss how to promote a culture of authentic engagement and academic integrity through an examination of tried-and-true assessment design.
Additionally, we will explore strategies for creating “AI-proof” assignments that require critical thinking and analysis, as well as “AI-enabled” assignments that allow students to critically engage with large language models and their outputs.
