This event has been postponed. We look forward to rescheduling for a later date!

All members of the Adelphi community are invited to join us as we celebrate Pride Month!

June is a time when individuals across the country and the world celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. We look forward to coming together virtually as a campus community to honor, recognize and celebrate Pride Month.

This event will feature Dennis Setteducati ’05 and Andrew Boza, also known as The Crafty Lumberjacks. Dennis and Andrew are both actors turned professional crafters, who met on the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof. They have appeared on The Chew and The Rachael Ray Show and can be seen on the HGTV Handmade Youtube Channel. Dennis and Andrew have performed all over the United States and Canada and have been featured on several publications including Buzzfeed, DIY Network blog, Urban Bear, Gay Star News, The Vegan Roadie and the lifestyle magazine, Sweet Paul. Dennis currently serves as a member of Adelphi’s LGBTQ+ and Allies Affinity Group.

During the course of the evening, Dennis and Andrew will share more about their personal and professional journey and the path that led them to where they are today. Following our discussion, they will lead us through a Pride DIY project, exclusively for members of the Adelphi community, where we will make Window Rainbow Kite Paper Stars! Attendees are welcome to purchase the below recommended supplies, follow along using what you have available in their home or simply watch and enjoy as Dennis and Andrew make the stars!
