Date & Time: September 19 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Location: Hybrid: Zoom and Alumnae Hall, Room 132

This workshop equips faculty with the tools and strategies needed to conduct thoughtful, evidence-based peer observations using the recently-revised peer observation form.

Participants will explore a structured evaluation framework focused on four key domains: course goals and alignment, teaching practices, class climate, and overall instructional effectiveness. Through guided discussion and practical examples, reviewers will learn to assess course design, teaching practices, and class climate. The workshop also introduces strategies for providing actionable feedback and modeling collegial support. Participants will leave with a shared understanding of best practices for peer review and a rubric-based approach that promotes instructional growth and excellence.
