About Our Speakers
Susan M. Palleschi, MD, FACS

Susan Palleschi, MD, FACS is a breast surgeon specialist who has been in practice for 25 years. She is board-certified by the American College of Surgeons, and she is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She is passionate about her patient care, and believes that patient education is fundamental to guide her patients to understand their diagnosis and treatment recommendations. She serves as the Director of Breast Surgery at Glen Cove Hospital. Her breast practice includes the evaluation of benign and malignant disease, and her expertise in breast surgery includes oncologic techniques such as breast conservation surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, nipple-areola sparing and skin-sparing mastectomies. In addition, she has a special interest in the care of patients with a genetic predisposition to breast cancer.

Jackie has been a nurse for 20 years, with 14 years of oncology experience. She is also a 16-year breast cancer survivor. She was treated at Northwell and is now part of the team that treated her. She has been a breast nurse navigator for four years and loves what she does. She truly understands what her patients are going through, and ensures that patients receive the best care.

Elizabeth started her career in Oncology at Northwell Health in 2011. She chose this career path to honor her late uncle who always said his nurses made a positive impact at every interaction and follow-up call throughout his cancer care. She has had various roles including oncology floor RN, Infusion RN, Magnet Champion and ANM, and is happy to now be part of the Breast Navigation Team.
