#PantherPrepTalks, is a dynamic speaker series designed to inspire, educate, and empower students on their journey toward success. 

Brittany Giles-Jones is a doctoral student in Humanities program at Clark Atlanta University, focused on historical inequities in disaster planning and response. Brittany serves as the Lead for the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Special Interest Group (SIG), through the National Emergency and Disaster Management University, and is the Vice-Chairperson of the Bill Anderson Fund Fellowship. After obtaining her Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) credential and spending five years as an emergency management consultant with CDM Smith and Hagerty Consulting, Brittany returned to theater administration as the Managing Director of the North Carolina Black Repertory Company and the International Black Theatre Festival. Brittany is a proud member of Epsilon Pi Phi, the National Emergency Management Honor Society, Pi Alpha Alpha, the Global Public Affairs and Administration Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and Actors’ Equity Association.

Open to all Adelphi University students, faculty, and staff. Please register in advance.
