Join us for this information session to learn about the NYC Urban Fellows Program, a nationally recognized and highly competitive nine-month fellowship program that explores current urban issues through unique learning seminars and first-hand exposure to public sector leaders. In this session, you will learn more about eligibility, the application and interview process, and expectations of the fellowship. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from current Urban Fellows.

The Urban Fellows program is a highly selective, nine-month fellowship that combines work in mayoral offices and City agencies with volunteer service opportunities and a seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy.
The 2026 – 2027 Urban Fellows cohort begins September 8, 2026, and ends May 14, 2027. Candidates must receive their bachelor’s degree between Spring 2024 and Spring 2026. The 2026-2027 Urban Fellows application deadline is January 12, 2026.
