The goal of this Lean workshop is to demonstrate how you could reduce waste and add value to an existing process in your department.
Remember, Lean is about leveraging employee knowledge and experience to identify and eliminate waste from our processes so we can spend more time, effort, resources on the things that matter to our students, employees and other stakeholders, and less on the things that don’t.
This workshop is offered as part of the Lean Sigma Academy program for faculty and staff.
Employees should sign up for both Part 1 and Part 2 in order to complete the Lean Series.
Facilitator: Dr. Alan Cooper
The developer and facilitator of Adelphi University Lean Sigma Academy is Dr. Alan Cooper, Clinical Associate Professor, Management. Alan has over 25 years of experience in the area of strategic organizational transformation, with a specific focus on organization development (OD), customer experience and change management.
