Date & Time: October 4 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Location: Performing Arts Center

Our “In the Classroom” experience is back for Spirit Weekend 2025!

Before podcasts and playlists, there was WALI/WBAU—Adelphi’s beloved radio station that shaped voices, launched dreams, and brought our campus community together through sound.

The alumni and friends of WBAU 90.3 celebrate the history of radio at Adelphi Unievrsity.

This fall, we’re proud to share that WALI/WBAU and its alumni community will be honored and celebrated during Spirit Weekend. We hope you’ll join us at these activities:

WALI/WBAU will be honored with the Panther Family Award during Saturday morning’s All Alumni Brunch & Spirit Awards, a recognition of the station’s impact, camaraderie, and Panther pride that lives on to this day.

Then, join us for a special conversation with Live from the Underground author Katherine Rye Jewell and Professor Scott Litroff followed by a Reunion. It’s a chance to reunite with fellow DJs, producers, and music lovers who made the station what it was. Together, we’ll celebrate our lasting legacy and the unforgettable moments shared behind the mic and in the studio.
