A bilingual workshop for all caregivers, with an emphasis on the Latino/a caregiving experience, navigating memory loss and aging with dignity and heart.

In collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter and Latina Moms Connect, the College of Professional and Continuing Studies (CPCS) invites the university community to join us for this workshop on caregiving for our aging family members.

Caring with Corazón is a heartfelt workshop with a focus on the Latina/o experience of caring for aging parents, grandparents, and loved ones facing memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease. Whether you’re just beginning the caregiving journey or have been walking it for years, you are not alone. Join us for an afternoon of education, storytelling, and cultural connection that honors the deep love and responsibility behind caregiving in our communities. Refreshments will be served.
