Be a Good Neighbor
Event Actions
This program helps residents understand how small, everyday actions, such as caring for shared spaces, being mindful of noise, and respecting guests, play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming residential community.
By participating, students are encouraged to identify at least one habit that makes a good neighbor and reflect on their personal responsibility within shared living spaces. The program also promotes inclusivity and belonging by emphasizing mutual respect and shared responsibility among all residents.
By inviting students to share their own perspectives on what it means to be a good neighbor, the program validates diverse experiences and fosters a sense of connection, helping residents feel valued, respected, and part of a supportive community.
