Date & Time: October 15 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Location: Hybrid: Zoom or Alumnae Hall 132

Research, studies, and common sense all point to cooperative learning as an effective, and arguably essential, component of pedagogy and course design.

Yet many educators shy away from using it, often because when it goes poorly, it can hinder learning or become difficult to manage.

This workshop aims to demystify cooperative learning and remove the stress often associated with group work. You’ll leave with a practical toolkit designed to help you implement group activities that not only support your learning objectives but also foster a sense of community (and even a little fun!) in your classroom.
