Adelphi will celebrate the University’s 130th Commencement on May 21, 2026 with a morning ceremony for undergraduates and an afternoon ceremony for graduate students.

What You Need to Know Now
- Graduation is not automatic. You will need to apply for graduation candidacy to ensure you’ve completed all your degree requirements. Visit the One-Stop Graduation website for all the details.
- You are eligible to participate in Adelphi’s May Commencement if:
- You graduate in December 2025 or January 2026
- You’re completing your degree requirements in May 2026; or 3) you’re within 12 credits of finishing and will complete them by August 2026.
- If you have an unpaid balance in excess of $2,000, you may graduate but you may not walk in Commencement or receive your diploma. Contact the One-Stop Student Services Center with questions.
