Description:

Students will perform fundamental concepts of music as applied to the ukulele, including musical notation, proper technique, scales, chords, rhythm, repertoire, improvisation, and ensemble playing (such as online play-alongs).

Students will be able to:1. Read and perform simple musical notation as well as play from lead sheets and simple ukulele tablature;2. Perform basic scales and chords;3. Improvise using scales and chords previously performed; and4. Perform solo and ensemble (virtual play-along) repertoire
