Description:

Students will learn to apply fundamental algorithms and advanced techniques for the design and analysis of algorithms such as Randomization, Amortization, Fingerprinting, Linear Programming, Network Flow, Approximation Algorithms, Streaming Algorithms, and Online Algorithms.

Learning Goals:

After completion of this course, students will be able to:1. select an appropriate analysis technique from a variety of advance algorithms and analysis techniques when presented with a computational problem2. describe and use state of the art solutions to a variety of important algorithmic problems
