Students will learn to apply fundamental algorithms and advanced techniques for the design and analysis of algorithms such as Randomization, Amortization, Fingerprinting, Linear Programming, Network Flow, Approximation Algorithms, Streaming Algorithms, and Online Algorithms. After completion of this course, students will be able to:1. select an appropriate analysis technique from a variety of advance algorithms and analysis techniques when presented with a computational problem2. describe and use state of the art solutions to a variety of important algorithmic problems *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only. The exact learning goals for each course section in a specific semester will be stated on the syllabus distributed at the start of the semester, and may differ in wording and emphasis from those shown here.CSC 644: Advanced Algorithms
