Participants will learn how the three stage model prioritizes emotion and how emotion and emotional regulation organizes interactions. Eileen Donohue, PhD

Eileen Donohue

Eileen Donohue, PhD, is a practicing psychoanalyst, couples therapist and educator with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. She is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) therapist and supervisor and teaches EFT at Adelphi University and City University. Dr. Donohue is also a graduate of the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

Her clinical work includes couples therapy, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, parenting concerns and family conflict. In addition to her clinical practice, she provides supervision to therapists training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
