Adelphi University’s 2025 Spirit Weekend events will impact parking and traffic on our Garden City campus from Wednesday, October 1, through Sunday, October 5.
Through Monday, October 6
16 parking spots in the Hagedorn Hall parking lot are currently reserved for the Spirit Spot Showdown. Ample parking is available in Motamed Field Garage and Parking Fields 7 and 8.
Wednesday, October 1 (10:00 p.m.) – Sunday, October 5 (8:00 p.m.)
Parking Field 5 will be closed. (highlighted in red on the map below, between Post Hall and Klapper Fine Arts building). Ample parking is available in Motamed Field Garage and Parking Fields 7 and 8.

Saturday, October 4, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Expect temporary delays and interruptions for pedestrians and motorists on campus during the Spirit Carnival.
Sunday, October 5, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Expect temporary delays and interruptions for pedestrians and motorists on campus during the Panthers for a Cause 5K/1K and Kids Fun Run.
Public Safety officers will manage traffic and maintain safety.
