The Adelphi University Parent and Family Ambassador Program is a volunteer opportunity for parents and family members of current students and alumni to build Adelphi’s reputation and awareness and share institutional information with others including domestic and international prospective students and their families.

Ambassadors will share their Adelphi knowledge as well as assist with recruitment, involvement, retention, and philanthropic opportunities.

As an ambassador, you will be provided with the tools and skill-building experiences to be knowledgeable about Adelphi University (i.e. campus resources, top stories, etc.). This knowledge will equip you to serve as mentors to other parents and families and equip you to better support your own Adelphi student.

The Adelphi University Parent and Family Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for ALL of our parents and families to get involved — no matter where your hometown is!

Adelphi’s Parent and Family Ambassadors are asked to serve for a minimum of a one-year term. Ambassadors will participate in an initial orientation to the program, will receive regular communication and updates, and will also receive Adelphi swag, invitations to special events and other exciting perks throughout the year.
