Ask a Librarian

University Libraries’ main customer service platform. You can use the system to search through FAQs, submit questions that you can’t find the answers to, chat, email, call, and make an appointment with a librarian, or find other service-oriented information, such as the libraries’ restart guide.

How to Search FAQs

  • You can use the search box on the main Ask a Librarian homepage to search through all available FAQs. Your question or search query does not have to match the FAQ exactly.
  • If you pause for a second while typing your question, you will get a suggested list of questions that may match your query.
  • Alternatively, you can also browse through all questions.

How to Submit a Question

The best way to submit a new question is by first performing a search. If you can’t find what you are looking for, you will be prompted to “Submit Your Question”. Your search query will already be pre-filled in the “More Detail/Explanation” section of the form. Alternatively, you can perform an empty search and scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the “Submit Your Question” button.

Please, provide as much detail as would be helpful to answer your question and feel free to attach any relevant files or notes. Your email is required before you can submit your entry.
