About the Speaker

Connie (Constance) McKnight

Fourteen years ago, I returned to my Alma Mater, Adelphi University, to teach Yoga Meditation. After receiving my Masters, I taught and worked with children and advocate for children with special needs which led to  developing and coordinating a socialization program.

Discovering Yoga Meditation I became certified. I then began teaching yoga meditation to everyone from very young and up, from those with special needs to those who just want to relax. I present workshops to share the many benefits of yoga, contributed and wrote about yoga meditation.

My intention and hope is for yoga meditation to be taught in schools so kids can discover the many ways (as adults have found) to relax the body and relax the mind. Namaste
