Volunteering at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home

TAs and volunteers are needed! Hours are flexible to fit whatever schedule is throughout the week. Weekends are also available.
The opportunity to volunteer at Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home located at 42-41 201 Street, Bayside NY 11361.
Each applicant will undergo background checks after filling out the application since they will be in direct contact with the residents. The volunteers would engage in activities with the elderly such as reading, playing games, etc. They would also be able to take the residents out of the nursing home to go on walks around the area and to get some fresh air.
This is a great volunteering opportunity for all students, including hands-on/healthcare experience for nursing students or any pre-med students. It’s also a great way to get patient care hours and help a community.
