Adelphi University School of Social Work Continuing Education has launched a 4-week online LMSW/LCSW test preparation workshop.
This workshop does not provide CE credits.
Adelphi University School of Social Work Continuing Education has launched a 4-week online LMSW/LCSW test preparation workshop. These weekly 2-hour sessions will be offered via Zoom and will include an overview of the ASWB LMSW/LCSW exam for tips and strategies for passing the licensing exam, and opportunities to practice with sample exam questions.
In addition to the 8-hours of face-to-face virtual instruction with the professor, you will also be provided additional learning activities to work on asynchronously and be provided access to an Adelphi University learning platform that includes practice questions, discussion boards and opportunities for engaging and connecting with your colleagues who are also preparing to take the exam.

This four-week series will take place in the evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. ET via Zoom on:
- October 19
- November 2
- November 9
- November 16
Overview
- 4-weekly 2-hour classes, via Zoom, with the Director of Continuing Education at Adelphi School of Social Work
- Optional asynchronous learning activities via Moodle (Adelphi’s Online Learning Management System)
- A personalized approach to teaching and learning from an experienced social worker and test prep educator.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is being offered virtually, via Zoom. You will need a computer, with stable internet service, a webcam, and audio to actively participate. Although a smartphone could be used, it’s not ideal. If you have questions about your technology capabilities, please don’t hesitate to ask us before registration!
Instructor Bio
Michelle Desir, LCSW
Michelle Desir earned her Masters of Social Work at Adelphi University. Michelle has spent 15 years in direct practice working with families impacted by various forms of trauma. In her work, Michelle has provided supervision to Caseworkers and Social Workers working with families involved in the Child Welfare System. Michelle is experienced teaching online and has worked with students and social workers preparing them for the licensing exam.

You will receive a unique Zoom Video Conferencing link that will provide you entry into the workshop one day prior to the event. This link will be active approximately a half-hour prior to the start of the event.

Cost
$295 or $225 for Adelphi alumni.
Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made seven working days or fewer before the event for any reason—or for no-shows. We can provide credit towards a future workshop up to 24 hours before the event. After that, no credit will be issued.
