Adelphi University School of Social Work Continuing Education has launched a 4-week online LMSW/LCSW test preparation workshop.

This workshop does not provide CE credits.

Adelphi University School of Social Work Continuing Education has launched a 4-week online LMSW/LCSW test preparation workshop. These weekly 2-hour sessions will be offered via Zoom and will include an overview of the ASWB LMSW/LCSW exam for tips and strategies for passing the licensing exam, and opportunities to practice with sample exam questions.

In addition to the 8-hours of face-to-face virtual instruction with the professor, you will also be provided additional learning activities to work on asynchronously and be provided access to an Adelphi University learning platform that includes practice questions, discussion boards and opportunities for engaging and connecting with your colleagues who are also preparing to take the exam.

Upon completion of the course, you will be provided a *$25 credit to a Continuing Education workshop offered by the School of Social Work. (Must be used within 1 year of LMSW/LCSW test prep course registration).

Dates and Times

This four-week series will take place in the mornings from 9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. ET via Zoom on:

  • March 6
  • March 13
  • March 20
  • March 27

Overview

  • 4-weekly 2 hour classes, via Zoom, with the Director of Continuing Education at Adelphi School of Social Work
  • Optional asynchronous learning activities via Moodle (Adelphi’s Online Learning Management System)
  • $25 Credit to a future AU CE course (to be used within 6 months of enrollment)
  • A personalized approach to teaching and learning from an experienced social worker and test prep educator.

Instructor Bio

Renee M. Rawcliffe, LMSW

Renee is the Director of Continuing Education and Professional Development at Adelphi University School of Social Work. Renee spent 18 years in direct practice working with vulnerable individuals and communities impacted by disasters, and provided leadership and content expert training to human service organizations responding to these events. Renee has extensive teaching experience in online learning environments, and has worked with hundreds of students in preparing them for the licensing exam, both through facilitation of test prep workshops and individualized tutoring sessions.

$295.00 or $225.00 for Adelphi Alumni

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations made seven working days or fewer before the event for any reason—or for no-shows. We can provide credit towards a future workshop up to 24 hours before the event. After that, no credit will be issued.
