Dr. Mary-Caitlyn Valentinsson will share her career journey from undergraduate study in New York, to graduate school in Arizona, to research in Argentina, to teaching in North Carolina, and finally to her current role as a business anthropologist in Florida.
Dr. Valentinsson will discuss the key moments throughout this journey that positioned her for her current corporate role, and the skills that have allowed her to succeed outside of academia. She will also share frameworks for understanding the value an anthropology degree can provide in a business environment, and advice on strategies and techniques for translating anthropological skills for the corporate world.
