Date & Time: November 16, 2021 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Location: Virtual

Laura Quiros, PhD, associate professor in the School of Social Work, and Chotsani Williams West, MA ’07, executive director of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will offer space to be heard, to share, and to gain better understanding and awareness of the critical intersecting issues of trauma and healing.

This will be an abridged version of the four-part series from last semester for student-centered conversations about highly publicized instances of police violence. As events escalated around the country, conversations began to surface among mentoring pairs.

Open to all constituents within the Adelphi community, this is primarily for students and all First-Year Seminar classes are welcome.
