Join the Adelphi community in this very special virtual event to remember those in the transgender community whose lives have been lost to violence, marginalization and prejudice.
Our special guest speaker, Zayn Silva, will read the names of those taken from us and lead an interactive discussion with all participants wishing to share personal reflections as well as how we can all look to a brighter future ahead.
This event is part of the Transgender Awareness Week 2020, sponsored by the LGBTQ+ and Allies Committee, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Office of Residential Life and Housing, the Garden City Cathedral, the Center for Student Involvement, the Student Counseling Center, the Alcohol and Other Drugs Program, the LGBTQ+ and Allies Alumni Affinity Group, and the Gender and Sexuality Alliance.
