About 25%-35% of humans are born with a more sensitive nervous system. This means, you pick up on more information from your environment, leading you to a stronger ability to empathize, experience intuition, be detail oriented, and notice subtle changes in your environment. Western culture encourages the perspective that we as citizens need to be tougher, less emotional, and be able to handle high levels of stress without breaking a sweat.

For many Highly Sensitive People, that approach only leaves you feeling depleted, anxious, and stuck in survival mode. This empty tank often takes a toll on their sense of self-efficacy and their relationships as drawing physical and emotional boundaries can feel impossible.

As a HSP you think deeply about world events and your life, you feel deeply when something challenging or positive happens, and you feel a strong desire to be of service to the world in a meaningful way. Even though you might feel burdened by this trait, these are some of the gifts of being a HSP. Join us for a presentation that will expand your awareness of what it really means to be a Highly Sensitive Person so you can properly assess your clients and provide appropriate resources accordingly.
