LeeAnn Black BBA ’83 is the Chief Operating Officer at Latham & Watkins, a leading global law firm with more than 2,700 lawyers in 30-plus offices across the United States, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Ms. Black oversees Latham’s global operations and strategic financial management, and serves on its Executive Committee, the firm’s highest management body. She has earned broad recognition as a trailblazer in the legal sector, including by the Financial Times, which named her a 2017 Top 10 Innovative Individual in North America. Ms. Black is a member of the advisory boards for The Roundtable Collaborative (a group of 50 Chief Operating Officers representing law firms from around the world) and Thomas Reuters’ Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law initiative. Before joining Latham & Watkins, Ms. Black was a Senior Auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York. She holds a BBA degree from Adelphi University.
