TESTED Comic: Subject experts from the NY State Department of Health AIDS Institute has a new way of presenting information geared to you...

The NY State Department of Health AIDS Institute developed a series of digital comics written in simple, conversational English. Each episode is a particular scenario presenting situations where older children, young adults, and adults learn about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and sexually infectious diseases (SIDs).

How does one know how these are transmitted? What some leading signs might be? Where to obtain help and resources from the expert staff of the NYS DOH? All these topics are covered in this new messaging format. Feedback regarding TESTED has been favorable from many schools and communities that have adopted their program.

This program is being offered through the Faculty-in-Residence Spring 2023 Symposium Series.

Please pre-register for an event discussing this public health initiative. There will be a raffle to win gift cards, so please bring along your friends and fellow classmates!

This event is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, Residential Life and Housing, Faculty-in-Residence Program, NYS DOH AIDS Institute.
