READ the syllabus! We’ve all heard it and we all say it. We believe in the importance of the syllabus as a foundation to a course and what we expect from students. Is that all it is or can be? Is it as important or effective to student success as we claim? Are there other ways to present a syllabus which may serve the purpose better? In this workshop, let’s take a honest look at the syllabus and generate ideas for making course syllabi what our students need.
