As the COVID-19 situation alters routines on many college campuses, we anticipate that students will be able to graduate and that they will still be seeking jobs thereafter.
With many on-campus recruiting events cancelled across the nation, we would like to offer virtual information sessions to help your students learn about teaching opportunities at K-12 schools around the South.
If you have students who are interested in speaking with one of our recruiters, we can schedule a Zoom meeting to connect either with a group of students gathered in one place or individual students joining the meeting remotely.
If you would like to coordinate a meeting for your students, please contact me to discuss.
Hundreds of private/independent K-12 schools around the South will list thousands of teaching jobs with Southern Teachers this year. We may be able to help your students find a great position for next year.
Southern Teachers offers a free service to candidates. As the oldest teacher recruitment agency in America, schools have long trusted us to help them find new teaching talent, and these schools pay all the costs of our services.
While the training received in a formal education/teacher-training program is valued, many private/independent schools can hire teachers to work in their majors, i.e., a biology major can teach science. Thus, teacher certification is not necessarily a prerequisite for landing a job.
