Location: UC 113/114/115

What is happening?

The world witnesses the atrocities Russia is committing in Ukraine. More than 10 million people have fled their homes, and many more remain in the country. The escalation of violence left civilians with little or no food, water, electricity, and other essential products.

How to get involved?

Attend a Cultural Event: Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 27th at 5 pm! The “Show Up for Ukraine” fundraising concert will take place in the University Center, Rooms 113-115. The Theater and Music departments will present poems and music, including selections by Ukrainian contemporary artists. Every student can attend to find out more about Ukrainian culture and donate to the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

Donate: While the brave Ukrainian Armed Forces are protecting the freedom and democracy of their country, the ongoing effort to provide humanitarian aid to civilians in need is crucial. The IRC is a worldwide organization currently directing its forces to help the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. They cooperate with local partners to support the evacuation of women and children and provide psychological support and products of critical need. You can donate through University Tickets

Show Ukrainians your support: We stand in solidarity with the people and families of Ukraine. You can show them your support by sharing the links to the benefit event and donations on your social media.
