The Safe Zone program identifies and supports students, faculty and staff who identify as a Safe Zone advocate on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community. Through education, advocacy and awareness, they will be empowered to speak out against homophobia and heterosexism. The program’s goal is to contribute to an open campus climate that is safe, accepting and just for all members of the University community.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register via the link under “Online Location”. Please note that in order to receive credit for this training, you must be present for the entire duration of the workshop.

This Safe Zone Training is catered towards the Adelphi student body. If you are a faculty or staff member, please refer to the Safe Zone Trainings that are part of the Diversity Certificate Program.
