This month’s screening and discussion is based on the film The Fight. Produced by Kerry Washington, it follows legal battles that lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) were facing during the Trump administration.

The Reel Justice Film Series is a monthly screening and discussion of a film focused on social justice issues. Through engaging with these films and a guided discussion following the screening, students will gain a deeper understanding of the issues facing our society and the role they can play in positive change.

The Fight is a 2020 American documentary film directed and produced by Eli Despres, Josh Kriegman and Elyse Steinberg. Kerry Washington serves as a producer under her Simpson Street banner. It follows legal battles that lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) are facing during the Trump administration.
