Psi Chi Honor Society is proud to host Dr. Elizabeth Fein, a psychology professor at Duquesne and author of “Living on the Spectrum: Autism and Youth in Community”.

At this event, Dr. Fein will speak about her ethnographic study of how youth on the autism spectrum negotiate the contested meanings of their condition — as disease, as minority identity, as something else entirely. Dr. Stephen Shore, an expert on autism education at Adelphi, will be joining to be part of the conversation as well! We will also have an open discussion section where attendees can ask questions.
