Join the Environmental Action Coalition fight for climate, jobs, and justice in New York State. Right now, the NYS budget is being developed by our legislators. The funds dedicated now will continue to shape the state of New York. New Yorkers around the state are rallying together to push for proper funding for the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act: $15 Billion.
After making posters, we encourage everyone to post their work on social media and to tag your local legislator. Not a resident of NY, or the US? No Problem! Climate affects everyone- lets fight for it!
On Tuesday, March 8th, NYRenews will be hosting a mass mobilization in Albany to demand $15B. NYRenews is also coordinating transportation by providing buses from Long Island and NYC. Be sure to RSVP if you are interested in attending!
